The next meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) will be held on Friday, March 5, said Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.
“Due to the coronavirus pandemic, last year we had only two face-to-face meetings, although the hotline is constantly communicating. An agreement has now been reached that on March 5 a meeting of the IPRM will be held in the border region, in the village of Ergnet. Representatives of the OSCE and the EU have assured us that they will take all necessary measures to ensure security from the coronavirus,” the Plenipotentiary said.
Dzhioev as stressed that the meeting will raise issues of security at the border, illegal post in the Tsnelis area and other situations that periodically appear in the area of the state border.
