South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee announced new data on coronavirus

Three new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered over the past day, Chief Sanitary Doctor Marina Kochieva told IA "Res" on Wednesday.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 infection in the Republic has reached 3375, of which 3341 have already recovered.

"85 tests conducted on Tuesday evening revealed three new cases of coronavirus," Kochieva said.

During the day, three people were removed from the medical register, their tests showed a negative result, 34 citizens remain under observation with a positive test for coronavirus, about 20 of them are in the "red zone" of the infectious diseases hospital.

In the laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee 23,335 tests were carried out for the entire period of the pandemic.

To date, more than 200 residents of the Republic have been vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine in South Ossetia, everyone can get vaccinated free of charge.
