South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee announced new data on coronavirus disease recorded at the end of last week.
As reported to IA «Res" on Monday by the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva, according to the results of tests, carried out on Friday evening out of 183 samples, 39 showed a positive result.
"To date, 277 people remain under the supervision of doctors, and another 10 have been removed from the medical register," Kochieva said.
The number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic reached 3712, 3435 people have recovered. In total, during the pandemic in South Ossetia, 25,264 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection.
The head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee appealed to the residents of the Republic and entrepreneurs with a recommendation to comply with all sanitary standards, as well as to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
"We recommend that those who have not been ill yet be vaccinated, since one cannot relax," she said.
It should be noted that since the beginning of May, the population is being vaccinated against the coronavirus by the Russian Sputnik V free of charge.
