As of August 2, 87 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia, a head physician of the hospital Indira Bichenova told the IA" Res"

"Over the past day, two patients with coronavirus infection were hospitalized. Two people were also discharged. There are two patients in the intensive care unit. One patient was transferred outside the Republic with cardiovascular complications of coronavirus infection," the agency’s interlocutor said.

Since the beginning of May, free vaccination of the population against coronavirus by the Russian "Sputnik V" has been taking place in the republic, residents of the Republic can get vaccinated daily seven days a week in the morning.
