Representatives of South and North Ossetia honored the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at the Central Station in Bologna, Italy

Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy Mauro Murgia took part in the traditional memorial events in connection with the 45th anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Central Station in Bologna.

In memory of those killed in the terrorist attack, August 2, 1980 was declared the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of All Mass Murders in Italy.

At the invitation of the local association of relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack, the Beslan delegation headed by Mayor Khariton Tatrov also took part in the memorial events.

The Beslan delegation held a number of meetings in other cities of Italy. In particular, a meeting was held with the mayor of Verona Damiano Tommasi, and joint declarations on countering terrorism were signed in several cities in the Veneto and Marche regions.

The cooperation and friendship agreement was also signed with the city of Piandimeleto.

Such documents link Beslan with four Italian cities. In some Italian cities, there are streets and parks named in memory of the children of Beslan.
