South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee detected 100 new cases of coronavirus in a day

Over the past day, 100 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in South Ossetia, head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, Marina Kochieva told the “Res” news agency on Friday.

“A total of 302 tests were carried out, of which 100 were first detected,” she said.

Currently, 925 people are under the supervision of doctors. “Another 73 people have been removed from the medical register,” Kochieva said.

According to her, the number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic is 6,125 people, 5,200 citizens have recovered.

“We urge the citizens of the Republic to observe the mandatory mask regime in closed rooms. Everyone should understand that without compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards, the disease cannot be stopped. Everyone should be responsible,” Kochieva emphasized.

According to her, there are enough tests for COVID and consumables in the Republic thanks to the help of Rospotrebnadzor and the authorities of the Republic.
