Servicemen of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia are carrying out active preparatory measures for a command-staff exercise in Abkhazia.
The idea of the exercise provides for its holding in three stages, while the South Ossetian military personnel will be involved in the most important of them, during which combat training tasks will be worked out to perform various tactical tasks for conducting territorial defense with live fire, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.
In order to successfully fulfill all the assigned tasks, the officers of the South Ossetian army, in cooperation with the organizers of the exercise, conducted a reconnaissance, studied the possible influence of the relief on the nature of the upcoming actions, and the entire personnel was familiarized with the terrain areas , took part in preliminary training.
Before leaving for Abkhazia, the servicemen were given the task of close interaction with the military units of the Abkhaz army, exchange of experience, study and analysis of the positive methods of the work of the Abkhaz commanders for the further application of the knowledge gained in our conditions. Increased attention is paid to the moral and psychological state and friendly contacts at the human level with colleagues from fraternal Abkhazia.
