South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev has received the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Foreign Ministry in the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) Radiona Pukhaev, who is on a business trip to Tskhinval.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, they discussed some of the results of the representative's activities in recent years, outlined plans for the coming period, including those related to the implementation of various cultural projects.
Pukhaev spoke about the projects implemented in various European countries, the high interest towards South Ossetia, Ossetian history and culture, shared plans for the future.
Dmitry Medoev thanked Radion Pukhaev for his personal contribution to the establishment of cultural ties between Ossetia and Europe, emphasizing the importance of such events as the Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe, organized by the international association Renaissance-Sandidzan headed by him.
The Minister has also stressed that South Ossetia is interested in holding similar events both in Europe and in other parts of the world, which make it possible to present Ossetia from the point of view of culture and art, the language of which does not need translation, and the work in this direction will certainly continue
At the end of the meeting, Dmitry Medoev awarded Radion Pukhaev with the Ministry's departmental medal “For Contribution to International Cooperation”.
