In Moscow, a protocol was signed on amending the agreement between the Ministry of Finance of South Ossetia and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on the procedure for providing financial assistance for socio-economic development of South Ossetia dated May 7, 2020 and a protocol on amending the agreement between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of South Ossetia and the RF Ministry of Socio- Economic Development on the procedure for providing financial assistance to South Ossetia in order to implement budgetary investments and support investment activities dated May 7, 2020.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian Embassy in Russia, the signing of the documents, which took place on December 17, is an important stage in the development of the bilateral legal framework aimed at further improving socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia, as well as supporting investment activities.
For the South Ossetian part, the documents were signed by the Ambassador of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev. The Russian party was represented by Dmitry Volvach, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
