On Wednesday, the Tskhinval City Hall together with the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic organized a festive event for the guests from the Donetsk People's Republic.
For internally displaced persons from the DPR, a concert program was held in the city's House of Culture with the participation of the South Ossetian artists.
The head of the department of culture, youth and sports of the capital administration, Igor Tasoev, has noted that such meetings are necessary, especially today, in difficult times for Donbass. “You are our brothers and sisters, and together we share your pain and joy,” he said.
During the event, the head of the Russian House in Tskhinval, Sergei Skvortsov, has noted that the fates of South Ossetia and the DPR are similar, they had to go through a difficult path.
"It will all end soon; we will win and break the head of Nazism. In Donetsk, they will stop shooting, as for almost 14 years, not a single shell has exploded on the territory of South Ossetia. For this, Russian and Ossetian guys are in Ukraine," he said.
The guests were pleased with the performance by the choreographic group "Iron", People's Artist of South Ossetia Vadim Kharebov, Honored Artist of the Republic Igor Tasoev, a young performer Maxim Zasseev and others.
The concert was also attended by children from the DPR, who presented several dance and vocal numbers.
Especially for this evening, surprises, a buffet table and a photo session in the Ossetian national costumes were also prepared. The guests from the DPR expressed their deep gratitude to the organizers of the evening for the warm welcome and support.
