Acting President of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov held a working meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. He announced this on his Telegram channel.
"We discussed issues that directly affect the quality of life and the development of our Republic.
First and foremost, the state program for the socio-economic development of South Ossetia. It is important for us that each project within it delivers concrete results: new economic opportunities, modern infrastructure, and comfortable living conditions," Kambolov said.
The parties also discussed gasification of districts and reliable electricity supply.
"Today, our task is to gradually resolve the accumulated problems in the energy sector, modernize the networks, and ensure a stable power supply throughout the Republic.
"I am grateful to Alexander Valentinovich and the Russian government for their continued attention to South Ossetia's development. We have a great deal of joint work ahead. The most important thing is for the people to feel its results," the Acting President said.
