President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, together with a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the head of the "Combat Brotherhood" Dmitry Sablin, arrived in Mariupol, where they visited the city hospital and handed over a batch of drugs necessary for a medical institution, the presidential press service reported.
Anatoly Bibilov talked to the doctors and found out how South Ossetia can help. “In fact, I myself wanted to see what is happening here, to understand what exactly people in Mariupol need right now. Thanks to my friend and friend of our Republic of South Ossetia, Dmitry Vadimovich Sablin, who helped to receive the first humanitarian cargo from South Ossetia,” said Anatoly Bibilov.
On his page in the telegram channel, the head of state wrote that hospital No. 2 in micro district 17 of the city of Mariupol was the first in the liberated territories to receive humanitarian aid from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. “There are many wounded here, doctors are working heroically despite everything. From the residents of South Ossetia, I donated insulin to the hospital, it is now not available in the city at all, we have partially covered the need. time we will send an additional cargo of medicines here," he said.
He also visited a temporary accommodation facility in the Volodarsk settlement. Here the "Volunteer Company" and the "Young Guard" are helping residents evacuated from the war zone. "From here, refugees are leaving for the Russian cities. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the national battalions were keeping people in basements, covering themselves with them in residential buildings, and are still doing it. Help is needed, and we will continue to help," Bibilov said.
The President is on a working visit to the Donetsk People's Republic. He is scheduled to meet with the head of the DNR, Denis Pushilin. Issues of interaction to provide assistance to the people of Donbass will be discussed. Anatoly Bibilov also plans to meet with volunteers participating in a special military operation on denazification of Ukraine. On the trip, he is accompanied by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Azamat Chochiev.
