President Anatoly Bibilov sent a telegram of condolences to the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin on the death of the LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the press service of the head of state reported.
President of South Ossetia has also expressed his condolences to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues, in his words, "one of the most outstanding political figures of modern Russia - the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky."
"A passionate personality and an outstanding politician, Vladimir Zhirinovsky became the founder of the first opposition party in the USSR, the permanent leader of which remained for over 30 years. Vladimir Volfovich was open to communication and invariably remained faithful to his life principles. All this allowed him to earn the sympathy of his voters and gain credibility among the colleagues," the text of the condolence reads.
According to Anatoly Bibilov, "the bright memory of Vladimir Volfovich will forever remain in the hearts of a huge number of people with whom he was brought together by the path of life."
