President Alan Gagloev has received a delegation of the Republic of Nicaragua, who arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of South Ossetia, the press service of the President reports.
The delegation has included: Nicaraguan Ambassador to South Ossetia Alba Assusena Torres Mejia and the Embassy Counselor Daines Gisel Melendez Castro.
Greeting the guests, the head of state thanked them for participating in the inauguration ceremony and conveyed his best wishes to President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega.
“I hope our relationship will be developing. For our part, we will do everything to develop bilateral relations,” said Alan Gagloev.
In turn, Alba Assucena Torres Mejia thanked the head of the South Ossetian state for the invitation and for the warm welcome and wished him success.
“It is a great honor for us to be in South Ossetia. And we will always be happy to wait for you in Nicaragua,” she said.
