Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev held a working meeting with the delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Director of the Department of Special Programs and Projects of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Vitaly Gudin. The delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is in South Ossetia on a working visit, the press service of the government reported.
The delegation has also included Anton Melnik, Deputy Director of the Department of Special Programs and Projects of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, and Maxim Smirnov, Head of the Department of Budgetary Investments and Support of Investment Activities in the Republic of South Ossetia of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Konstantin Dzhussoev warmly welcomed the guests and expressed hope for successful and fruitful joint work on the issues of socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
“Let me once again welcome you to the hospitable land of South Ossetia. I would like to thank you for your interest in the development of the Republic. We highly appreciate your contribution to the process of formation and development of all spheres of the economy. I would also like to emphasize the focus of the new leadership of the Republic on the development of comprehensive cooperation between our countries. I hope that our joint efforts will bring quick practical results,” the Prime Minister said.
In turn, Vitaly Gudin noted the importance of the meeting and readiness to discuss issues that need to be addressed in the near future.
“We have a number of priority tasks that we are ready to discuss. These are the most important issues that need to be addressed in a short time. First of all, these are the issues of the Investment Program, energy, civil service, as well as the implementation of the state program for socio- economic development for 2022-2025, the harmonization of customs legislation, which we have approved in a separate road map,” said Vitaly Gudin.
Further, the parties discussed the implementation of the Investment Program for the Promotion of the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2020-2022, as well as the formation of the Investment Program for 2023-2025.
The Investment Program for 2022, in accordance with the current version, provides for the implementation of 20 measures, 18 of which are capital construction facilities, some of the facilities are transferred from 2021.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of the State Program for the Socio- Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2022-2025, and the harmonization of the customs and tax legislation of the Republic of South Ossetia with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The South Ossetian party was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia Dzambolat Tadtaev, Head of the Government Staff Azamat Chamokov, Minister of Justice Oleg Gagloev, Chairman of the National Bank Zhanna Dzhioeva, Acting Minister of Finance Fatima Tibilova, Acting Minister of Construction, Architecture Housing and Communal Services Eduard Dzagoev, Acting Minister of Agriculture Alan Margiev.
The meeting was also attended by Murat Tskhovrebov, Chairman of the Customs Committee, Vladimir Kadzhaev, Chairman of the Committee on Taxes and Duties, Ruslan Tedeev, Deputy Chairman of the Industry, Transport and Energy Committee, Alan Gabaraev, General Director of Energoresurs-South Ossetia State Unitary Enterprise.
