Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, on the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa, took part in the celebration of the 211th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Venezuela, the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation reports.
Znaur Gassiev conveyed to Carlos Tortos a message on behalf of the people of South Ossetia with the wishes of peace, well-being and prosperity.
"The people of Venezuela deeply understand the price of independence and freedom. All the achievements and successes of Venezuela are the result of the unity of the entire people, united by a common responsibility for the fate of their Fatherland. And today, the people of the country are working hard to create a strong, dynamic, modern state. South Ossetia attaches great importance to the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation in the bilateral format and expresses sincere hope for the realization of the enormous potential of relations between our countries and peoples," the statement reads
