President Alan Gagloev congratulated the President of the Republic of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and the people of this country on the occasion of the celebration of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution.
“On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution, on behalf of the Republic of South Ossetia and on my own behalf, I send you and all the Nicaraguan people my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.
In July 1979, the freedom-loving people of Nicaragua, having rid the country of the dictatorship, embarked on the path of free development. The courageous Nicaraguan people have repeatedly proved that they are unfailingly ready to defend their Motherland and the right to be the master of their own destiny.
For the Ossetian people, as well as for everyone who shares the ideals of equality of nations, freedom and democracy, the victory of the Sandinista revolution will forever remain the inspiring event. I am sure that the ideals of the Sandinista revolution are the most reliable guidelines on the path to prosperity and a happy future for the Nicaraguan people,” the press service of the head of state cites the text of congratulations.
