The representative of South Ossetia will take part in the forum of young cultural and art workers "Tavrida-2022". This was reported to IA "Res" in the press service of the Committee for Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of the Republic.
They noted that from July 25 to July 31, an educational race "Academy of Mentoring Yuri Bashmet and Igor Butman" will be held at the platform of the Tavrida art cluster in Crimea.
“A talented performer Oleg Pliev underwent the competitive selection from South Ossetia for the “Academy of Mentorship of Yuri Bashmet and Igor Butman,” the press service said. - Pliev's creative task was to record a video with a musical performance, which he coped with perfectly. He is studying at St. Petersburg State University at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences."
The department noted that along with lectures and master classes, a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Russian jazz under the direction of Igor Butman will be held on the construction site of the University of Creative Industries. Also, with the participation of Yuri Bashmet will be a show of classical music and ballet.
"The Art School of Jazz Music, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Russian jazz, will become a platform for creative association, potential development and exchange of experience among jazz musicians, directors and managers," the press service added.
Representatives of the youth of South Ossetia regularly take part in the annual youth forum "Tavrida".
