“With symptoms of SARS and influenza, citizens need to stay at home and call a local doctor. At the same time, it is important that the patient observe the rules of personal hygiene, use separate utensils, and isolate himself in a separate room from family members.
Precautions should be taken primarily by people at risk: the elderly, people with chronic diseases, obesity, diabetes, etc.,” Kochieva has noted.
She has added that the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee sent the information letter to the Ministry of Education with instructions to conduct "morning filters" with mandatory temperature measurement in educational institutions of the Republic.
“We would like to appeal to our citizens with a request not to go to work with signs of SARS and influenza, and also not to send sick children to schools and kindergartens. It is necessary to inform the local doctor about the condition of the sick person and follow his instructions,” Kochieva has stressed.
