Employees of the V. Gazzaev Special Purpose Police Detachment delivered humanitarian aid to the servicemen participating in the special military operation in Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The OMON personnel collected about 400 thousand rubles.
Acquisition of necessary goods was carried out on the territory of Russia. According to the Deputy Commander of the OMON, Vladislav Sanakoev, they faced some difficulties during the purchase, as some military goods were in short supply, while others rose significantly in price.
“We were aware of what our fighters needed at the front. We purchased warm clothes, medicines, food, personal hygiene products, gas burners, household chemicals, etc. We left for the Zaporozhye region in two vans and distributed humanitarian aid among the units on the spot. One car was given to us by our colleague Vasily Kulumbegov and he was driving himself. I want to thank the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the provided vehicles and the driver Alan Dzagoev. Also, I thank the employees of our division - Ruslan Kobesov, Soslan Zasseev, Azamat Tedeev, Dzhambolat Tigiev and Vitaly Dzhioev, who accompanied the cargo to its destination," said Vladislav Sanakoev.
At the front, Ossetians are treated with respect, both by comrades-in-arms and local residents. As explained by Sanakoev, he had never seen such a friendly relationship between servicemen of different nationalities, including towards them. .
“We were welcomed everywhere. Even at the checkpoints they we were warmly welcomed. It was very pleasant,” Vladislav has emphasized.
