President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev posthumously awarded the leader of the national movement "Adamon Nykhas" Alan Chochiev with the Order of "Watsamonga" for outstanding services in the formation of the Republic, strengthening independence and protecting territorial integrity.
The President handed over the highest state award to his son Atsamaz and the grandchildren of the outstanding political figure.
“Alan Rezoevich made invaluable contribution to the history of the Ossetian people, the formation of the statehood,” said Gagloev. “It is the duty of each of us to remember and honor our history, those who was fighting for independence, sparing no efforts on the way to the great goal.”
The head of state has noted that Alan Chochiev gave his love and strength to the Motherland.
"We consider it our duty to pay tribute to him for everything," Gagloev has added.
In turn, Alan Chochiev`s son – Atsamaz, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Republic for the attention.
