In the capital of South Ossetia, the collection of humanitarian aid for the earthquake-affected residents of Turkey and Syria continues.
On Monday, on behalf of President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, a collection point for assistance was opened in the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports.
As reported to the “Res ”news agency by the press service of the Committee, residents of the Republic are bringing warm clothes and essentials.
“The humanitarian aid collection point, located in the building of the Youth Policy and Sports Committee, is open daily from 09.00 to 20.00. Contact numbers and a list of things necessary for residents of Turkey and Syria are indicated on the entrance door to the Committee building,” the agency interlocutor said.
The Committee has noted that for the purpose of openness and accessibility of information, the data of all those who provided assistance are recorded.
"Among the necessary things and essentials for the victims: warm blankets, solar-powered lanterns, candles, matches, sleeping bags, thermoses, hygiene products, medicines and much more," the press service said.
