The participation of South Ossetia in the Caucasian Investment Exhibition in Mineralnye Vody was discussed on Tuesday at the government meeting chaired by President Alan Gagloev.
The event will take place May 3-4. Its participants will be able to get acquainted with modern trends and prospects for the development of activities in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure and innovative projects and programs.
As noted by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Dzambolat Tadtaev, the issue of participation of South Ossetia in the exhibition was worked out on behalf of the head of state.
“In Mineralnye Vody, at the MinvodyEXPO ground, the investment opportunities of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District will be presented. Our Republic will also present its national exposition, we will be given an area of 25 square meters,” he said.
Taimuraz Goginov, the trade representative of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, noted that the event would once again provide the opportunity to talk about the economic opportunities of the Republic and present South Ossetian manufacturers there.
“We have a number of young entrepreneurs who are just taking their first steps, for them this is a good advertisement, the opportunity to prove themselves,” he said.
According to him, the issue of participation in the exhibition of 14 exhibitors is being worked out; the first group of them will go to the event on Sunday.
“We plan to exhibit the products of the Iron Sun enterprise, the Union of Entrepreneurs, the Leningor project in a glass bottle, souvenirs, we will show the guidebook, which was republished, and provide the information on tourism,” Goginov has emphasized.
Alan Gagloev noted that the participation of South Ossetia in the exhibition at the MinvodyEXPO ground. was announced earlier so that the interested parties could apply for participation.
“Our goal is to enable our entrepreneurs to present their products at this exhibition,” the President said.
It was noted that those wishing to take part in the investment exhibition could still apply today.
