In South Ossetia, two Georgian citizens were fined and expelled from the Republic for violating the state border. This was reported by the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia.

According to the Committee, residents of the village of Dvani, the Karelian municipality of Georgia, Akhalkatsi Chito and Mamagulashvili Gocha, were detained by the South Ossetian border guards at the end of April in the vicinity of the village of Chorbaul, Znaur district.

According to the KGB, the Znaur District Court found Georgian citizens guilty of committing an administrative offense; they were fined and transferred to Georgia n accordance with the established procedure.
