In South Ossetia, 45 state border violators were detained in April - KGB

In April, 45 violators of the law in the border sphere were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia, the press service of the State Security Committee of the Republic reports.

The KGB has noted, that of these, 21 are violators of the state border regime, 24 are border regime violators.

“The Border Service of the KGB of South Ossetia conducted investigations on each fact of violation of legal regimes. 25 people were subjected to the administrative fine, three people were subjected to administrative expulsion with a fine, 15 people were warned, administrative proceedings were terminated against two people,” the press service said.

The Border Guard Service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia informs citizens and guests of the Republic planning their trips to vacation spots located in the border zone of the Republic of South Ossetia about the need to have identification documents (passport, service ID, birth certificate for minors, and for foreign citizens - also passes to the border zone).

The Border Service also reminds citizens, organizations and state enterprises that with the onset of the period of arable and other seasonal agricultural work in areas located in the border zone of the Republic, it is necessary to submit documents in advance to obtain appropriate permits for economic activities. Permits are issued at the Border Guard Service at the following addresses:
