On Tuesday President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev visited the Russian University of Special Forces, located in the city of Gudermes of the Chechen Republic, the press service of the head of the South Ossetian state reports.

The head of the university, Baibetar Vaykhanov, told Alan Gagloev about the history of the complex, as well as about the areas of activity and available programs.

The idea of creating a multifunctional complex on the territory of the Russian Federation belongs to the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov. The complex combines modern methods and technologies for teaching a wide range of disciplines of tactical and special training.

The extensive infrastructure of the university is involved not only in the military-applied, but also in the civil sports direction.

On the territory of the complex there are 95 buildings and structures using the latest special information technology solutions: an indoor shooting range, open shooting galleries, an aerodynamic complex, a tactical city and a reservoir, a sporting center, an air training unit, etc.

The head of the South Ossetian state told reporters about his impressions after visiting the university.

"People are seriously doing their job. All conditions have been created here for the training of real fighters. Today we have found here a group of defenders who are preparing to leave for the special military operation zone. The first task not only for the Caucasian republics, but for all Russian regions is to defeat fascism and save the civilian population,” said Alan Gagloev.

To date, the Russian University of Special Forces offers programs for group training of civilians, training of security guards and bodyguards, and there are also special offers.

The President noted that he was considering the possibility that fighters from South Ossetia could improve their skills at the University.

."The instructors here are thorough, competent. I think we will work out the issue of improving the level of training of our fighters here at the University of Special Forces. I wish our Chechen brothers further success," he said.
