Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev took part in the flower-laying ceremony at the Memorial to the people of Abkhazia, perished in the Patriotic War of 1992-1993. The event took place in the Park of Military Glory in Sukhum, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia reports.
"The ceremony was attended by the Abkhaz Foreign Minister Inal Ardzinba, representatives of the leadership of Abkhazia and foreign government delegations from friendly countries who had come to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia," the press service noted.
Akhsar Dzhioev is in Abkhazia on a working visit. On Tuesday, he held a meeting with his Abkhaz counterpart Inal Ardzinba, during which issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
