President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev laid flowers at the Monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy in St. Petersburg, the press service of the head of state reports.
Together with the President, the head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Sergey Menyailo, Chairman of the government of North Ossetia-Alania Boris Dzhanaev, Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev, representatives of the Ossetian community in St. Petersburg took part in the ceremony.
After the laying ceremony, Alan Gagloev visited the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, next to which a monument to the victims of Beslan was erected.
