Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev instructed Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev to work out the issue of the trip of South Ossetian creative teams to Turkey.
According to the press service of the executive body, the Prime Minister announced the corresponding instruction during the meeting with the Plenipotentiary of the Republic in Turkey Burkhan Khosity and the representative of the national-cultural society of Ossetians "Alan" in Turkey Khayri Khusaty with the participation of the Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Greeting the guests on behalf of President Alan Gagloev, Konstantin Dzhussoev noted that there had been active interaction with the Ossetian community in Turkey for many years, and thanked for the visit.
“Today we have the opportunity to celebrate a significant day that changed the course of our history. Thanks to the Russian Federation, we live in a free, recognized state, and we are glad that our brothers from Turkey have come to share our holiday with us.
We have long-standing, warm relations with the Ossetian society "Alan". I am glad that the society is doing a lot of work to preserve national customs and culture. It cannot but cause great respect that, being so far from your historical homeland, you do not forget your origins, dear people. One of our common tasks is to promote national culture, preserve and develop our native language, and we must do this together,” said Konstantin Dzhussoev.
In his response, Burkhan Khosity emphasized that he would be happy with any joint projects that would promote the development of ties with Ossetia.
“It would be good if, as part of trips to Turkey, the citizens of South Ossetia would come to our society. We would only be happy to have the opportunity to communicate, because it is so important for us, especially for young people,” Burkhan Khosity has emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
