The delegation from Kabardino-Balkaria, which arrived in Tskhinval to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the recognition of South Ossetia by Russia, has been received on Saturday by the President of the Republic Alan Gagloev.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov, the first Deputy Chairman of the government of the KBR Sergey Govorov, the head of the local administration of the KBR Alan Kulbaev.
The Head of State Alan Gagloev thanked the guests for coming to the Republic on this significant day for South Ossetia.
“For the people of South Ossetia, this day 15 years ago became a new starting point. On August 26, 2008, a fateful decision was made. I want to express my deep gratitude that you have come to congratulate the South Ossetian people. South Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria have always had a special relationship,” said Gagloev.
Kazbek Kokov has emphasized that this holiday symbolizes the resilience and courage of the South Ossetian people.
“Today we already see a positive vector in the development of the Republic. We have a lot in common, we will continue our relationship. We are ready to further strengthen our ties. I sincerely congratulate you on this significant date,” he has stressed.
The head of the KBR, Kazbek Kokov, brought a car as a gift to serve an outpatient clinic in the remote villages.
