President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev commented on Vladimir Putin’s decision to participate in the elections.
“The news of Vladimir Putin’s intention to run for the post of President of Russia caused great enthusiasm among the citizens of South Ossetia. Vladimir Vladimirovich has all the qualities to successfully solve the strategic problems facing the country and people.
It is with his name that the overwhelming majority of Russians associate faith in the development of the country and hope for a better future,” the press service quotes President of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Gagloev has noted that Putin is today at the forefront of the struggle for justice and the rights of the Russian world.
“This is most clearly visible from here, from the zone of the Special Military Operation, where I am now. Rest assured: my opinion is shared by our fighters and all our people. I sincerely wish you, Vladimir Vladimirovich, a confident victory for the benefit of Russia and all its citizens,” - said the head of the South Ossetian state.
