The team of the Hero of the USSR Konstantin Kochiev Tskhinval School No. 2 has become a diploma winner of the III international competition “The Best Russian School Abroad”. This was reported by the telegram channel of the Russian House in Tskhinval.
The organization has clarified that the director Olga Mikhailidi received the well-deserved award at the ceremony in Moscow.
“The long-term project “Feat and Glory in the Memory and Hearts of Generations” was recognized as one of the most promising in a special category of the competition, where more than 800 mentors from 54 countries participated,” the Russian House has noted.
Immediately after the event, the school representatives from South Ossetia Olga Mikhailidi and Natalia Vshivtseva became the participants in an educational program at the Mashuk knowledge center (Pyatigorsk).
70 specialists from foreign schools implementing programs on Russian Federal State Educational Standards and the study of the Russian language listened to the lectures and took part in the trainings.
The organizer of the forum, where other schools and teachers of South Ossetia actively showed themselves, was the Association of Russian Schools Abroad, with the support of Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo.
