The exhibition “Fireworks over the Neva” has opened in the capital of South Ossetia

The State National Museum of South Ossetia has opened the exhibition “Fireworks over the Neva”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, the Russian House in Tskhinval reports.

Ambassador of the Russian Federation to South Ossetia, Marat Kulakhmetov, opening the event, called every day of the life of the blockade survivors the endless feat,

The photo exhibition, organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic, marked the beginning of a number of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, which was emphasized by the head of the organization Sergei Komissarov.

“I hope that as many students and schoolchildren as possible will come to us these days. It is they who, first of all, need to know about the incredible heroism of the peoples of the USSR,”

– director of the State Museum Merab Zasseev has noted.

“Thank you for such an exhibition. Students from our schools will definitely attend it to prevent the substitution of values,” promised Minister of Education and Science Aslan Lolaev.

The exhibition “Fireworks over the Neva” will continue until February 4. Next week it will be supplemented with works by participants in the “Leningrad – Memory of Generations” competition.
