South Ossetia and Crimea have agreed to increase trade cooperation

Increasing trade cooperation and establishing transport links between South Ossetia and Crimea were discussed by Chairman of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.

According to the press service of the South Ossetian Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting of officials took place as part of a working visit of the Republic’s delegation to Moscow.

“During the meeting, the results of the first meeting of the joint working group on the implementation of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the government of South Ossetia on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation have been discussed, as well as further steps on the activities of the signed protocol and the action plan approved last year for implementation of the bilateral agreement,” the press service said.

The parties, the Cabinet noted, confirmed their readiness to continue working within the framework of the joint working group and implement the decisions made at the first meeting.
