A delegation from South Ossetia of 130 people went on Thursday to the World Youth Festival, which will be held in Sochi.
Head of State Alan Gagloev addressed the young people with parting words, wishing them a happy journey.
The President has expressed confidence that representatives of South Ossetia will represent their republic at the largest festival with honor and dignity.
“At the festival you will represent the entire Ossetia and the Ossetian people. How you show yourself, this attitude and opinion will be about our Republic. We are all worried about you; great responsibility lies with the heads of the delegation. Support each other and come back with new emotions and knowledge,” the head of state has noted.
In turn, the delegation members promised not to let their Republic down.
A journalist Alim Beteev told IA “Res”, that he planned to take part in the meetings with the outstanding cultural figures.
“I am very glad that I am going to the World Youth Festival. I will take an active part in all planned events. There will be a lot of useful information and meetings,” he has shared.
