Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, at the invitation of maestro Valery Gergiev, took part in the action in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation.
It was noted that in memory of those who had become victims of a cruel and inhuman act of violence at the Crocus City Hall, the Requiem of Giuseppe Verdi was performed in the Mariinsky Concert Hall with the participation of the choir and the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev.
“The Requiem is a prayer to God to grant the dead eternal peace and eternal light,” the description of the concert on the Mariinsky Theater page reads.
