Ambassador of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev and Secretary of State of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev discussed issues of cooperation in various areas of activity, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
As noted by the department, the meeting of diplomats took place within the framework of interaction between South Ossetia and the Permanent Committee of the Union State.
“During the conversation, issues of cooperation this year in various areas of activity were discussed, including in the fields of education and culture, as well as the participation of representatives of South Ossetia in ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders,” the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry reports.
Znaur Gassiev thanked Dmitry Mezentsev for the warm welcome and expressed hope for further cooperation, the Foreign Ministry has concluded.
