The South Ossetian Ambassador paid tribute to the memory of the Abkhaz soldiers fallen in the Great Patriotic War

On May 9, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev took part in the flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the Unknown Soldier in Sukhum, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

“President Aslan Bzhania, Vice-President Badra Gunba, Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab, Russian Ambassador to Abkhazia Mikhail Shurgalin, head of the official representative office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia Harry Kupalba, members of parliament, members of the government, military, members of the public, students and schoolchildren came to pay tribute to the warriors, perished in the Great Patriotic War,” the statement of the press service reads.
