South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev has issued a decree on the creation of a Coordination Headquarters, which will prepare and hold the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the press service of the head of state reports.
In accordance with the decree, the head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Alborov has been appointed Chairman of the Coordination Headquarters.
In accordance with the main provisions of the decree, the headquarters will be responsible for preparing the events dedicated to the anniversary date. Its regulations have been approved; its composition has been formed, which includes representatives of various government agencies.
Alan Alborov will head the process of planning and coordinating the work of the headquarters.
Within two weeks, the headquarters must develop and approve a plan of events aimed at celebrating the Victory anniversary.
The government has been instructed to ensure funding for events for the significant date.
