The Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation and the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography signed a Memorandum within the framework of the previously signed cooperation agreement.
The document was signed in St. Petersburg at the International Economic Forum.
The memorandum was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev and Rector of the University Nadezhda Kamynina.
The memorandum envisages the continuation of personnel training for the Republic of South Ossetia in the field of geodesy, cartography and cadastre, as well as the preparation of joint applications for funding in the form of grants for the implementation of educational programs and research activities; development and implementation of joint cultural programs; joint participation in national and international programs and projects, etc.
It should be reminded that within the framework of the agreements between the Embassy and MIIGAiK, a group of employees of the State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service of the Ministry of Justice became masters of one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Russia.
