Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia has sent a note of condolences to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic in connection with the death of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the 2nd Class Vitaly Soshnin.
“An extraordinary, kind, sympathetic man of enormous spiritual strength and inner dignity, an extraordinary diplomat and professional, has passed away.
In South Ossetia, Vitaly Nikolaevich, who was holding the position of the Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in 2013-2017, left memories as a person who was completely devoted to his work, who made a significant contribution to the development of the South Ossetian-Russian relations, strengthening cooperation between the foreign policy departments,” the note reads.
The Foreign Ministry expressed deep condolences to the family and friends, as well as to Vitaly Soshnin's colleagues.
