South Ossetia took part in the II International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” in Kazan.
According to the press service of Ministry of Education of the Republic of South Ossetia, the event brought together representatives from more than 40 countries.
“At the plenary session, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of South Ossetia Alexander Galavanov made a report, noting that this forum is a unique platform for discussing key issues related to the development of the education sector,” the statement of the press service reads.
During his speech, Alexander Galavanov said that Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of South Ossetia was developing a project for a children's technology park, planned to be opened on the basis of the Republican Station for Young Technicians.
In turn, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov thanked Alexander Galavanov for his speech, having emphasized that the creation of the technology park is a very important task, and that the relevant ministry in Russia is ready to assist in the implementation of this project.
During the forum, a Declaration was signed on the creation of a working group on creative professions, the use of artificial intelligence in education and the creation of engineering schools.
At the end of his working trip, Galavanov visited the Kazan Rehabilitation Center for children and adolescents with disabilities “April”.
The International Forum of Ministers of Education was organized by Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation together with the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the My History Foundation for the Support of Humanities.
