The events of August 2008 in South Ossetia and what iss happening today in the Kursk region could not be realized without the go-ahead from the countries of the “collective West”, their military-political support for the Saakashvili and Zelensky regimes. This is stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia in connection with the attack on the Kursk region.
On August 6, the Kiev regime carried out a massive terrorist attack on the Kursk region, where the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of armored vehicles, went on the offensive with the aim of capturing a section of the territory of the Sudzhansky district. As a result of the criminal actions, there are human casualties, including among the civilians, as well as the destruction of civil infrastructure.
The Foreign Ministry drew attention to the fact that this criminal action was committed on the days of the tragic August events of 2008, when Saakashvili ordered to attack South Ossetia and Russian peacekeepers.
“At the same time, the so -called“Georgian Legion”, formed from the Georgian citizens, including participants in the murders of the peaceful Ossetian population in 2008, is taking an active part in the attack on the Kursk region,” the Foreign Ministry has noted.
South Ossetia, which felt the consequences of the Georgian nationalism, went through all the trials of war and deprivation, decisively condemns the large -scale provocation of the Kyiv regime in the Kursk region, and once again declares support for the decision of the leadership of the Russian Federation to conduct a special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass and defeat the bridgehead of neo -Nazism, created near the borders of Russia by the efforts of the West.
