In the capital of South Ossetia, a festive event will be held in honor of Russian Flag Day, which is celebrated on August 22. Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Organization of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia, Natalya Zhuikova, told IA “Res”.
“On the summer stage of the Palace of Children's Creativity there will be a concert program with the participation of the Honored Artist of Abkhazia Marta Kharebova, students of the Albion gymnasium, the Lyceum of Arts and the Tedeev children's music school. In addition, two flash mobs, the “Drawing on the Asphalt” campaign, and the distribution of flags and ribbons with the Russian tricolor are planned as part of the event,” Zhuikova said.
The organizers of the holiday are the Union of Russian Citizens and the Coordination Council of the Organization of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia with the support of the Russian House in Tskhinval and Ministry of Education of South Ossetia.
