The special services and embassies of the Western countries are already openly doing and will do everything possible to get the situation in Georgia out of control during the parliamentary elections, South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev said at the meeting of the Republic's Security Council in Tskhinval on Thursday.

"The parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia on October 26 and, taking into account the information received, including even from the open sources, we see that the situation is getting more complicated," Gagloev said.

Considering the fact that from the 20th to the 30th of each month, for humanitarian reasons, South Ossetia opens the state border in Leningor and Dzau districts, it is necessary to do everything possible to ensure the security of citizens and the Republic as a whole, the President has emphasized.

A number of decisions aimed at ensuring security will be made at the Security Council meeting.
