The ballet "Fatima" of the branch of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania will be shown at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia on October 13 at 19:00.
The plot of the ballet "Fatima" is based on the poem of the same name by Kosta Khetagurov with the music by composer Zhanna Plieva. The composer's focus was not on the spectacular details of the narrative, not on love passions, not on social conflicts, but on the extraordinary psychological complexity of the emotional experiences of a strong young woman.
The choreographer of the production is Valery Suanov, the director is Tamerlan Dzudtsov.
The performance of the ballet is timed to coincide with another significant anniversary date - the 165th anniversary of the birth of Kosta Khetagurov.
