Aide to President of South Ossetia on sports issues, the world champion in freestyle wrestling Alan Zasseev will take part in the XII international sports forum "Russia - sports power" in Ufa.
The largest business event, which will be attended by about five thousand delegates from 100 countries, will open tomorrow, October 17. This year the forum will be held under the motto - "Sport. Family. Russia".
The international nature of the event is of particular importance. The forum will bring together the guests from the BRICS, SCO, CIS countries, including the Olympic champions, leading athletes, coaches, and physical education workers.
The forum is scheduled to hold about 40 events, which will take place at eight venues in the capital of Bashkortostan over three days. There will also be sports competitions, a cultural program, business sessions, a meeting of the Council under the President of Russia for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports. A large industry exhibition will also be organized.
The platform will bring together representatives of state and regional authorities, industry professionals, business and the media for a comprehensive discussion of key issues and further plans for the development of the industry. The forum sets new tasks to achieve national goals for the development of sports in the country.
Since Ufa is celebrating its 450th anniversary in 2024, the forum guests will also take part in the city's festive events, get acquainted with the culture, history and heritage of a very interesting and diverse region of Russia.
