Thousands of Olympic champions, athletes, coaches, and experts took part in the XII International Sports Forum "Russia - a Sports Power" in Ufa. The large sports event brought together about five thousand delegates from 100 countries. The main event of the forum - a plenary session on the topic "Sport - a comprehensive view of the future" was held with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"This is very large-scale and interesting action, full of various events - sports competitions, business sessions, interesting discussions, exhibitions, etc. I am glad that I had the opportunity to take part in the forum," Zasseev said.
He has noted that he met many colleagues, as well as the sports ministers of Kalmykia, Abkhazia, Yakutia, Mordovia and representatives of a number of other cities and countries.
"We agreed with many of them on further cooperation in the field of sports, as well as on holding joint events. For example, the sports minister of Yakutia proposed creating joint projects, signing cooperation agreements. In addition, I met many famous athletes and invited them to visit our country," Zasseev said.
Zasseev has also noted that he took part in the main event of the forum - a plenary session, where key issues of the industry were discussed, as well as the prospects for the development of sports in the country.
