In Tskhinval, Alan Parastayev, a participant in the Russian special military operation, was seen off on his final journey with military honors.
The leadership of South Ossetia, headed by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, the heads of security agencies, the public, and the fighter's friends and relatives came to bid farewell to the fighter.
By Presidential decree, Alan Parastaev was posthumously awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.
At the funeral ceremony, it was noted that Alan's comrades in arms would remember him as a man with a big heart, always ready to help.
The commander of the Oleg Mamiev 3rd RShO, Dmitry Khabalov, noted that Alan Parastayev had proven himself to be a responsible and reliable comrade in arms.
"Alan was an attack aircraft, he worked in many areas. He took part in the assault in the first Avdiivka, a year later in the second Avdiivka, took part in the assault on Bakhmut, the Soledaro-Bakhmut direction. As a comrade, as a friend, he was a maximalist. If he was friends, then ,also,to the maximum, if he was fighting, then also only to the maximum. Some of the best doctors in Moscow were fighting for his life, ”he said.
The former comrade-in-arms of the fallen fighter Vadim Gazzaev has reminded that during his service in the special forces battalion of South Ossetia in 2004, during the Georgian aggression, Alan was one of the first to stand up for the defense of his Fatherland and his people.
Alan Parastaev was 45 years old. He went to the special military operation zone as a volunteer in 2022. The fighter died in the hospital from a serious wound, he was not destined to see his first child, who was to be born.
