The South Ossetian Emergencies Ministry team is in first place in tug-of-war at the fire-applied sports competitions in Belarus, the press service of the department reports.
The competition among firefighting and rescue units from friendly countries started in Belarus on Thursday. The South Ossetian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister for Emergencies, Colonel of the Internal Service Germagen Tedeev.
“According to the program of two tournament days, the teams competed in fire-applied sports and volleyball. In tug-of-war, the South Ossetian Emergencies Ministry team is in first place. In climbing the assault ladder to the 4th floor of the training tower, our team is in fifth place,” the press service has noted.
The teams are currently preparing for mini-football games.
